In celebration of Coaches week you are invited to participate in a free session on how nutrition can have an direct impact on sport performance.  The session is presented by CoachNB and will be facilitated by Natasha McLaughlin-Chiasson.  Please find attached more information on presenter and session.  It is important to note that this session is not only for coaches but also parents, children and any sport enthusiast that wishes to further their knowledge in sports. The session will take place Wednesday November 20th at 6:00pm in Rexton.  It will be held at Eleanor W.

From November 12-29th EWG, RES, BLMS and Harcourt Elementary will be collecting bags of gently used clothing, sheets, towels, linens, curtains, boots, shoes, in support of a new partnership with the NB Association for Community Living. 2 ways to donate...#1 drop off your donations in garbage bags to BLMS Mon-Fri from 8-4pm or call any of the schools and someone will pick it up for you - EWG Middle is 523-7970. For more information call Cheryl Warman at 523-7160. If we collect 200 bags it will mean $400 in support of literacy!

The 2013 Cookbook is now available at a cost of $10. They can be purchased at the main office or at local business' around town. All proceeds go to support the Nursing Home Volunteer Program at EWG. For more information or to purchase a book call 523-7970 or email cheryl.warman@nbed.nb.ca

We are very pleased to have been chosen to host this year's conference in partnership with the YWCA of Greater Moncton. On Thursday, October 17th all grade 7 and 8 students from EWG and Elsipogtog will take part in a morning conference facilitated by the YWCA.  During the conferences, students will cycle through a series of workshops on topics such as bullying, healthy relationships, and friendship-building. The event will be lead by the YWCA with support from school staff and volunteers from community organizations in Moncton, Rexton and Elsipogtog.
