The Village of Rexton is celebrating 50 years of incorporation!~ Students at all three Rexton schools were asked to participate in a poster/art/poetry contest! Ashley Jones, Village Manager presented EWG's Brooklyn Corbett, Jacob Mayusa and Shayline Leblanc with their cash prizes on Nov. 9th. Congrats to the students and thank you to the Village for including us in your celebrations!
ATTENTION; EWG will hold their lockdown drill on Wednesday, Nov. 2nd at approximately 9:30. There will be no physical access to the school during the drill which should take approximately one half hour. Thank you for your cooperation.
Support and wear your orange shirt on Friday! We do this in remembrance of the experiences of former students of Indian Residential Schools and is a commitment to ongoing reconciliation in Canada. Orange Shirt Day is also an opportunity for First Nations, local governments, schools and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come.
EWG Administration and Staff invite all parents to attend their meet and greet on Thursday, September 22 from 6-7pm. Parents will be welcomed at 6pm and introduced to our new Principal and Vice-principal followed by break out sessions with your child's teachers. Please feel free to also take a tour of our school.

Student information sheet, media coverage(without this students will not be allowed to have pictures taken),Student Photo forms (Picture Day is Sept 21) and Grade 7 Immunization permission form. Please check with your son/daughter and see that these forms are returned to their homeroom teacher or the office as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation!
Grade 6 students will begin Tuesday, September 6th. Please bring school supplies that day.
A free of charge spaghetti dinner will be provided for lunch. Spaghetti will be the only meal served, so please bring a lunch if you choose to not have spaghetti.
Students will need to bring their own snack for break.
EWG students took part May 10th in the RCMP Torch Run for Special Olympics! Thanks to James Mundle for coordinating the event and to all the students and staff who took part!
