Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week was initiated by the Canadian Home and School Federation in 1988. The purpose of the week is to encourage parents and the wider community to recognize the personal and professional contributions that our teachers and school staff make to children in their education. Every school has dedicated staff members such as secretaries, teacher assistants, bus drivers, custodians, teachers and cafeteria staff. TSAW lets them know they are appreciated and that parents want to work with them on the same team. A small gesture of thanks goes a long way...please take the time to recognize the week  of Feb. 13rd at EWG!
