March is Nutrition Month!

Enjoy the sun and the longer days and make March your month to eat healthier! Here are a couple of healthy ideas to incorporate fruits and veggies into your diet. Start your day off with a  Fruit Smoothie...frozen fruit, small container of yogourt, pure orange juice and blend to perfection or try homemade trail mix using popcorn, dried fruit such as apples or strawberries, cashews, unsalted peanuts, your favorite cereal and some raisins. If you like your veggies raw...cut up celery and carrot sticks and add your favorite low calorie dip, peanut butter or eat plain! Just for fun if you are not a veggie or fruit eater, take the pledge to try something new this month...you might find you like it!
