Local newcomers Jim and Carol Logie visited Mr. Augustine's Culture class in full costume to share their love of history. Jim and Carol brought with them a display of homemade items they sell at reinactments all across Canada and the United States. Jim and Carol tell a story relating to history with each of their items from the 1700's to 1820's. Carol sews all of Jim's period costumes, mitts, possible bags with bead work, and makes her own sashes which she demonstrated. Jim is an avid carver of period knives and tomahawks which he brought for the display. The students were able to ask questions and Jim gave them a local history lesson.
