EWG Students Promote Healthy Eating!

EWG Students volunteer on two occasions in March to provide the entire student body and staff with a nutrition break. In keeping with the school's Wellness and Healthy Learner's Policy, on March 17th with assistance from Mrs. Warman our Community Schools Coordinator, students prepared and baked a variety of muffins for 190 students. The volunteers went class to class before morning break distributing the goodies. On March 31st, they prepared fruit and vegetable trays that they set up in the cafeteria and cleaned up when the break was over.For more pictures on these events..see our Photo Gallery on the right hand side of our home page.
