Posted: October 4, 2016

We can use divisibility rules to help use decide if a number is a multiple of another number.  For example :  Is 345 a multiple of 5?   Answer:  Since 345 is divisible by 5 then 345 is a multiple.

We can also use the rules to find factors of numbers.   We now know 5 is a factor of 345 !
