Outcome N1 and N8We have been working in a unit on decimals.  worked with decimal place value up to millionthssaying decimal numberswriting decimals in standard, expanded and written formsordering decimalsworking with base ten models of decimalsdeveloping an understanding of decimals representing base ten fractions and that they represent parts of a wholeWe are currenting estimating products and quotients of decimals.  Front-end estmation, Rounding(decimal benchmarks) and compatible number strategies have been practiced.We will be learning how to multiply decimals by whole numbers, divide decimals by whole numbers.  The decimal is placed using estimation strategies learned in previous lessons.
