On Monday and Wednesday May 2nd and 4th, Carol and Jim Logie, local historians, trades people and suttlers as they refer to themselves presented to the grade 7's their display of handmade items from the mid 1700's to early 1820's. The Logie's who recently settled in Rexton, tour the United States and Canada with their wares and set up at reinactments. Carol is an avid sewer and Jim carves his own knives and tomahawks. It was a nice history lesson and they touched on local history too.
