NB Student Wellness Survey Results for Eleanor W. Graham Middle School

Posted: December 14, 2010

In 2005, the Wellness Branch (GNB Department of Wellness, Culture and Sport) partnered with the Health and Education Research Group (HERG) to embark upon a multi-year initiative entitled the New Brunswick Student Wellness Survey (NBSWS), with the cooperation of the Francophone and Anglophone sectors of the Department of Education. The NB Student Wellness Survey is a key project of the NB Wellness Strategy: Live well, be well, and is conducted with students in Grades 4 - 12 and parents of students in Kindergarten to Grade 5. Student wellness is also important to education, as research has demonstrated the relationship between academic achievement and student wellness – healthy students are healthy learners.   We are pleased to attach our Report   •       Healthy Eating •       Physical Activity •       Tobacco-free Living •       Mental Fitness
